Itinerary Synopsis

During this five-night, round-trip voyage from Labuan Bajo, Flores, you will trek through Komodo dragon territory, snorkel with manta rays, and enjoy water sports in secluded bays to your heart’s content.

For travellers looking for an active escape, each day of this itinerary allows for several hours of water sports in the most beautiful areas of Komodo National Park. Each day can be planned to group preferences, modified according to the desired intensity of pace and activities.

Highlights include dives or snorkels at the amazing Secret Garden, W Reef, Three Sisters, Manta Alley and Makassar Reef sites, hikes to take in the Park’s stirring scenery, and, of course, dragon sightings!

Labuan Bajo - Rinca

Board early morning and cruise to Rinca Island for a three-hour guided hike with an experienced park ranger. Walk in the ancient land of Komodo dragons, encountering the fantastic beasts up close.

Rinca - Padar
9 NM (17 km)  |   ~ 1 hours
 

Padar Island’s iconic landscape has three bays perfect for a day of relaxing or water sports. Dive nearby at Secret Garden, W Reef and Three Sisters sites. At sunset, trek to a breathtaking view of the bays.

Padar - Nusa Kode - Muang
28 NM (51 km)  |   ~ 4 hours
 

Head to Nusa Kode to witness dragons rambling along the seashore. In Sokolo Bay where very few boats visit, soak up heavenly tropical seclusion enjoying beach walks, watersports, and evening stargazing.

Muang - Manta Alley - Gili Banta

Enjoy incredible diving at Manta Alley, where colder waters, orange fire coral and black manta rays make for unforgettable underwater sightseeing. Cruise to Banta Island, a dream destination for water sports.

Gili Banta - Batumonco & Gili Lawa
19 NM (35 km)  |   ~ 3 hours
 

Explore a secluded bay that’s home to Manta rays and dolphins. Dive the Park’s most exhilarating sites, Crystal Rock and Castle Rock, at the foot of Gili Lawa. Hike Gili Lawa Laut or Gili Lawa Darat for spectacular sunset views overlooking the passage between the two islands.

Gili Lawa - Labuan Bajo

On the final day, stop for a snorkel at Makassar Reef to catch a last glimpse of manta rays. Cruise back through the Park to Labuan Bajo harbor for disembarkation and airport transfer.
