Itinerary Synopsis

This 7-night showcase of northern and central Raja Ampat is the ultimate showcase of the best of the region. Each stop is sure to impress even the most seasoned of world travelers.

This itinerary is all about relaxing and partaking in activities according to one’s mood rather than a tightly packed schedule. Highlights include mind-blowing snorkeling at Arborek and photo opportunities of Wayag’s and Penemu’s signature karst formations.

In order to fit the best sites into one week, this itinerary includes above-average cruising and some night crossings. If desired, scuba diving can be enjoyed with the onboard PADI instructor.

01
Sorong - Arborek
53 NM (98 km)  |   ~ 8 hours
 

Settle in and embark for Arborek, stopping en route at Manta Sandy, a cleaning station for manta rays. On arrival at Arborek, snorkel at Yenbuba jetty then stroll around Arborek village. Overnight, cruise to Wayag.

Wake up to the most visually stunning scene in Raja Ampat. Wayag offers spectacular snorkeling, water sports and relaxed beach time. Enjoy three beauty-soaked and fun-filled days here.

The calm waters of this picturesque paradise bay have offered a perfect setting for three relaxed days of water sports and exploration. As the last day here concludes, cruise overnight to Penemu.

Penemu - Kabui Bay

Kayak or paddle board in the shallow green bay surrounded by towering cliffs. Climb a wooden 316-step staircase to a lookout with spectacular views. Take a tender to Batu Rufus for a snorkel with black tip reef sharks, then to Melissa’s Garden to spot pygmy seahorses. Overnight, cruise to Kabui Bay.

Kabui Bay marks the beginning of The Passage, home to the Mushroom Islands. We will enjoy two days here, with an excursion to Hidden Bay, a shallow lagoon enclosed by thousands of small rock islands.

Kabui Bay - Sorong

Snorkel The Passage’s underwater caves, with soft corals in shallow water perfect for underwater photography. Jungle trek to catch sight of the exquisite bird of paradise, then enjoy a beach BBQ. Cruise overnight back to Sorong.
